Hey Guys,
I have been sick pretty much since last class, which is why I only got the blog (http://ethernetjungle.blogspot.com/ I sent you emails to add yourselves to the blog) made and have not had time to post in it yet. I will not be in class today as I am going to try to sleep this cold off. I think our base points should be:
1) The continuing advent of free time - which started in the industrial revolution but has only grow since then
2) With the amount of people worldwide with internet access and with speed that make file sharing and easy and pretty much free
3) Peoples wants and needs to work in a community and now the boundaries are not physical ones it is easier for like minded individuals get together in cyberspace
Examples of this include: Wikipedia, Soundcloud, Linux, Torrents etc...
Anything you wish to add please do so in this email or on the blog, I will post this email to the blog as well... Lets get this blog started I will be posting more on the weekend!!!
